Everyday I have been poking around ebay and I keep seeing those desks that are " like Samantha"
Well those are sold right down the street from my house , they are regularly 12.99 but they had a 60% off coupon in the flyer for the day after Thanksgiving which made them 5.00 not even and now they have a 40% off coupon so they are around7.00 I cant believe how much those people are making off them, and they are the SAME desk that I got for not even 5.00, sometimes I think ebay can be such a rip off!!! If anyone really wants or has bid on those I would be more then glad to pick one up.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Wow - I have the real Samantha's desk, and honestly I think a $5 version would be well-worth the money. I just assumed the AG version would be solid wood and wrought iron, but it's not. If I had room for another, I would definitely take you up on your offer.

How much do you think it would cost to ship it?
Does the doll fit in it nicely? I would love to have one.

    Samanthasmom -

What store is selling those desks? Is it a chain? Might save some of us shipping charges if it were available near us.

Is this the Springfield collection desk? I have one of those, and it is every bit (in my opinion) as nice as the AG one.

HI Ladies it is called A.C. Moore look it up on the web I guess, yea it is sort of like michaels and they have some really pretty stuff, they also have a really nice cherry wood rocking chair. A love seat that is like wooden with spindle with chairs you can buy that match. The desk and a bed and a beautiful doll trunk for 19.00 that is on sale from 49.99 ,I have no idea about shipping , I am off to the bruins hockey game... Ill look tomorrow at the shipping on the other desks. I have seen the same doll trunks on ebay as well. Ill let you ladies know tomorrow but try to find AC Moore on line do a google search.

I have a Pre-Mattel version of Samantha's desk and it is solid wood and wrought iron. It has P.C. in the iron as well. Very heavy and very well-made. Is the newer version not solid wood and wrought iron?
